The atmosphere is electric as the Critics Choice Association (CCA) has unveiled the much-anticipated TV category nominees for the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards. This announcement sets the stage for a dazzling gala, to be hosted by the fabulous Chelsea Handler, where the winners will be celebrated in style.
Leading the charge with an astounding six nominations is “The Morning Show” on Apple TV+. Not only is the show nominated for Best Drama Series, but it has also garnered acting nominations, with the incredible Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon both in the running for Best Actress in a Drama Series. The talent doesn’t stop there with Billy Crudup and Nicole Beharie also earning well-deserved nods.
HBO | Max’s “Succession” isn’t far behind, storming in with an impressive five nominations, including a nod for Best Drama Series. The outstanding cast members Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, and Matthew MacFadyen have all received individual nominations, further cementing the show’s powerful presence in the awards race.
The excitement continues to soar as “A Small Light” (National Geographic), “Abbott Elementary” (ABC), “Beef” (Netflix), “Lessons In Chemistry” (Apple TV+), “Loki” (Disney+), “Reservation Dogs” (FX), and “The Bear” (FX) all find themselves tied with an impressive four nominations each – a testament to the diverse and outstanding content gracing our TV screens.
